AC DELco AC-G0002 Tri-Fuel Kit uses an adapter that makes it possible to operate an engine on three different fuels Propane, Natural Gas, and Gasoline. Adapters will mix the Propane or Natural Gas into the air stream above the gasoline carburetor. The gasoline carburetor remains basically untouched. So basically, adapter kits are not a conversion, they are an adaptation.

AC DELco AC-G0002 Natural Gas or Low Pressure Propane Conversion (Dual Fuel) Kit uses an adapter that makes it possible to operate natural gas and gasoline. Most homes provide low pressure natural gas or low pressure propane. This kit does not support high pressure propane that comes from a tank. Adapters will mix the Propane or Natural Gas into the air stream above the gasoline carburetor. The gasoline carburetor remains basically untouched. So basically, adapter kits are not a conversion, they are an adaptation. This is the most common method of conversion and it is the least expensive.
